Today, a renaturation flash mob took place on the streets and in the subway in Vienna, initiated by Viennese artist and climate activist Tom Poe and supported by “Klimabox” and “Artists For Future Austria”. Over 50 people equipped with their (potted) plants and sound boxes with nature sounds to renature the public space together.

In line with the global movement for more nature in urban spaces, the artist collective “Klimabox” is leaving a new trail today. This flash mob celebrates the reawakening of nature in the middle of the city and invites passers-by to experience the transformative power of green spaces, plants and living ecosystems in urban environments.
