Guides of the future creatively communicate climate protection, the environment and culture
Are you familiar with the urban wilderness in Auerwelsbachpark or the world’s second-tallest timber high-rise in Seestadt? Have you already discovered the numerous new green façades, climate-friendly trees and green oases in the middle of urban heat islands? Why are there so few air conditioning systems in the Inner City and yet so many cooled offices?
The Austria Guides For Future will take you to the answers to these questions and to many other green places and sustainable projects in Vienna. On our city walks, we talk about topics such as greening, urban development, energy, mobility, biodiversity, health, nutrition, participation and much more.
Our offer is aimed at all people who are interested in the connection between culture and the environment/climate protection or whose interest in this should be awakened: Residents of the city as well as guests from the federal states and abroad. In particular, we want to get children interested in environmental and climate protection – whether in the form of leisure activities or as an educational program.
In addition to the public tours, all tours can also be booked privately. Possible languages are German, English, French, Croatian, Turkish, Italian and Spanish.
The Austria Guides For Future are a self-organized team of future-oriented Austria Guides who want to make a contribution to environmental and climate protection through their work. We work together with experts, institutions and initiatives.
