Climate education meets team building: The Climate Puzzle is an interactive and collaborative workshop on the climate crisis. It is based on the reports of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) and manages to make climate science accessible and playful.
The Climate Puzzle has four workshop phases and uses the “Head – Heart – Hands” method. Each phase has its own rhythm, ensuring dynamism and entertainment.
In phase 1, the 5-7 participants discover the 42 playing cards, which represent various elements of climate change. Together, the team examines the cards for their cause-and-effect relationship and puts them into a corresponding system. In phase 2, the participants engage creatively with the content and phase 3 allows them to share their own emotions. The final phase is solution-oriented and takes the participants from the problem to the possible courses of action.

The tool is ideally suited for any context: for (university) teaching, as part of events, projects, conferences, festivals, for private as well as professional use. We have a junior (2 hours) and an adult (3 hours) version.
From participant to workshop leader: After participating in the workshop, participants can become Climate Puzzlers themselves, effectively creating climate awareness and inspiring those around them.
A worldwide movement: The Climate Puzzle is the German-language offspring of “La Fresque du Climat/The Climate Fresk”. Translated into 45 languages, our tool has already reached over 800,000 people in 50 countries. The team in Austria is looking forward to your inquiries!
